Hurry and sign up before it's too late!

Family and Friends of CAYA,

We have reached a crossroads in our program. The influx of new and returning football players for the upcoming season has far reached our expectations set earlier this year. We are overjoyed by the turnout but unfortunately have to make a decision we never anticipated.

Family and Friends of CAYA,

We have reached a crossroads in our program. The influx of new and returning football players for the upcoming season has far reached our expectations set earlier this year. We are overjoyed by the turnout but unfortunately have to make a decision we never anticipated.

As it is never our goal to turn a player away from our program, we are limited to the number of players we can accommodate safely. We pride ourselves in CAYA on the ability to provide the best competition, the best equipment, the best training, and some of the best facilities in the area to develop our players for the next level of play. As many of you have seen through our social media the numerous CAYA alumni who have played or moving on to play at the collegiate football level. We aim to continue that tradition in the future while maintaining our goal of developing young men and woman for football & cheer in a safe and fun environment.

Due to our limited resources, we must close registration for our Senior and Junior football teams for the 2018 season. PYFA bylaws set roster limits at 30 players at the Senior (12U), Junior (10U), and PeeWee (8U) divisions and 22 players at the Boomers (6U) division. Surprisingly, we have filled our Senior roster and have one more opening for our Juniors. Any players signing up after these two teams are filled will be placed on waiting list but will be allowed to participate with their respective team up to a date to be determined before the season starts and will fill any vacated holes as they occur.

We will continue to accept applications for our PeeWee and Boomers and will expand to a second team if the need is determined by our June 9th registration and fitting date. As of now a second PeeWee team is expected.

We regret having to make this decision and announcement. We hope that through building our program to be better this year will yield a bigger program for years to come. Please stay tuned to more updates and we hope you all are still available to be a part of the CAYA Family at all our events this season and the next.

General registration is projected to close June 9th at the final uniform fitting at Crestview High School Field House. Any registrations after June 9 will be to fill any remaining roster vacancies.

If you have any questions regarding this announcement, please contact President Bud Tipton, Vice President Cory Williams, or Football Director Ryan McNeal.

Cheerleading regististration is still open for all teams.
